Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of Amwali. By creating an account you agree to them. Last updated 16 August 2026.
1. The service
Amwali analyses bank statements and related financial documents you provide, and returns summaries, comparisons and suggested actions. The service is delivered over the web and evolves continuously; features may be added, changed or retired.
2. Accounts
You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding agreement. You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for activity that occurs under your account. Notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access.
3. Plans and billing
- The Free plan requires no payment method and has no expiry.
- Paid plans are billed in advance, monthly or yearly, in the currency shown at checkout.
- You may upgrade, downgrade or cancel at any time; changes take effect at the end of the current period.
- Cancellation stops future charges. Fees already paid for the current period are non-refundable unless required by law.
Prices may change with at least 30 days' notice. A price change never applies retroactively to a period you have already paid for.
4. Your content
Statements and documents you upload remain yours. You grant Amwali a limited licence to store and process them solely to provide the service to you. This licence ends when you delete the content or close your account.
You confirm that you are entitled to upload the documents you provide, including in the case of joint or business accounts.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Upload documents belonging to another person without their authorisation.
- Attempt to access other users' data, or to probe, scan or disrupt the service.
- Reverse engineer the service, or use automated means to extract data at scale.
- Use Amwali to facilitate fraud, money laundering or any unlawful activity.
6. Not financial advice
Amwali produces informational analysis. It is not regulated investment, tax or legal advice, and it does not account for circumstances beyond the documents you supply. Decisions you take based on the output are your own, and significant decisions warrant a qualified professional.
Parsing is highly accurate but not infallible. Where an insight matters financially, verify it against the underlying statement — which the product always links to.
7. Availability
We aim for continuous availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Maintenance is announced in advance where practical. Open banking connections depend on third-party institutions and may be unavailable for reasons outside our control.
8. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Amwali is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits, or losses arising from decisions made on the basis of the analysis. Our aggregate liability is limited to the amount you paid in the twelve months preceding the claim. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
9. Changes and termination
These terms may be updated; material changes will be notified in the product before taking effect. You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate an account that breaches these terms, and will explain why unless legally prevented from doing so.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates, without regard to conflict of law rules. Questions can be sent to legal@amwali.ai.
